Its a great way to describe this non neurotypical brain of mine trying to process the job hunt, the absurdities of modern life, and the moments of joy we create in between what is sometimes great pain.
My latest experiment? Applying the same standards of thoughtfulness (and investment of time) to my personal work as the paid work I’m often commissioned to create. Collaborating once again on community events, emerging ideas and platforms, plus a healthy dose of humility is going as well as a rollercoaster can go.🎢

I personally work on keeping my tolerance as low as possible, but it can be a struggle. Sometimes a flu, injury, or surgery will give me a little involuntary T-Break, so there’s that, but if you are not getting stoned, hit the breaks for a few days, and read the article for more practical advice on how.

I didn’t think this Groove grinder would really be a big deal— until I actually used it! The Groove Pivot ($20) is soooo much easier on my fing-os. Sure it doesn’t have a kief catcher, but it also doesn’t get caught with buds in the middle of the magnet part, and the super sharp teeth actually can give you a few different levels of grind, depending how many times you spin.

Look, I know millennials are going to change everything about aging, hierarchy, and all that good stuff. Keep pursuing new dreams and goals, don’t pidgeonhole yourself, don’t wait, don’t hesitate (but keep it thoughtful!) and don’t stop creating, sharing, and being yourself. This story is proof! 💋
It’s not the job of agents of capital to use their personal discretion about what’s the most reasonable path. It’s to act out these impersonal injunctions about capitalist growth and accumulation. At a certain point you realize you’re not dealing with someone who has the freedom of reason. You’re dealing with someone who’s acting out a set of impersonal instructions, and at that point you can stop negotiating.
I don’t need to say much more than the above quote — our tech-infused flavor of capitalism is on a one way track to taking us all out if we don’t shift the trajectory. ☄️
