WEED did it! 420 in New York (and the whole month of April) was special this year! Some of the pre-pandemmy magic was out, even though the pollen was in full effect 👃.

I even returned to ‘the stage’ for the first time since October, on Monday May 1st with Humble Bloom, moderating their High Seat, where womxn and non binary leaders and entrepreneurs in the space gave the audience vital insights into the tough landscape before us in the cannabis industry.

Mini Food Fest was amazing!! Thank you to the chefs, to the wonderful team at Rise, and to everyone who showed up to support! We had Italian snacks and spritzes, INFUSED OXTAIL (!!!) and fries topped with some of the most unique toppings since late night diner goers made disco fries.

We’re taking a break for May but coming back strong with a SUMMA themed collab on 6/25, save the date! 🌈

Crème Brûlée at Corner Bar - New York City

Love getting treated to a three/four $$$$ spot around the corner from my mids ass old apartment 🥲 ah New York, New York!! Before the Dimes Square days there was the ‘Les Enfants Terrible’ both the restaurant and the actual bad kids and I was one of them bahahahah.

BUT I DIGWESS»»this crime brûlée, though $16, is CLEARLY made to share, as you can see by the melon sized serving. This preparation allows for optimal crunch-to-crème ratio for sharers so you don’t have to red flag that guy on Raya for being gweedy.

It was just the right consistency, no lazy thickeners, and all yolky, just the way oui like it.

GAMMATRON 🤖 Micro Pen

Micro pens are coming back!

You can forgive the heavier weight of this pen when you explore all it has to offer. It’s a great example of functional and thoughtful design, and I’ve been taking it on the go!

I love this pen for:

• The auto-lock function on the button

• The screw-on storage container on the bottom that holds up to .5g

• The mouthpiece that’s actually a tool for grabbing a dab and then dropping on the coil

I loaded her up with Nature’s Heritage Double Krush and we’ve been good pals. Battery life is solid and the USB-C type charger means you don’t need to bring an extra cable if you’re an Apple kween. ($109)

Women, and men who don’t hate them, now is a pretty great time to review concepts like these. There’s a (once again) rising distrust of women stemming from a backlash to Me Too and other brief outbursts in the lexicon of women’s rights. From being told Kavanaugh wouldn’t usher in abortion bans to constant gaslighting over the destabilization of progress via the *rump Era, the witches have been trying to warn you. 😈

I felt ‘scared’ reading this, but couldn’t pinpoint the cause of the fear. Dear beverage expert Jahdé Marley shifted my perspective, saying the ‘fear’ of the unknown is all a human creation, and how can we comprehend non humans on such terms? 👽

I mean as noted above, control of women and birth is paramount to the machine’s continuation. You’d think they’d do a better job at subsidizing the whole birthing part, being so pro-life or whatever. ☄️

Sorry to make it rain right wing caca, but this is a must read. So many of the theories posited here are spot on as far as cultural differences in American regions that were hard to define. From rowdy Scots to capitalistic Niew Amsterdam, it’s an incredible breakdown. ⚡️
